How is this different from Xero's built-in reports?

Xero's native reporting is limited in layout, doesn't support complex multi-entity consolidation, and can't handle bespoke business logic. Cheetah lets you define exactly what goes where, apply custom calculations, and scale the same template across all your client entities — things Xero simply can't do out of the box.

I don't have a Google Account. Can I still use Cheetah?

Cheetah leverages Google Sheets to generate reports (which you can then export to Excel or PDF). If you already have another work email address that is not a Google Account, you can link it to Google following these steps.

No. Cheetah only stores the structure and instructions for your reports — never your clients' numbers. Every time you generate a report, data is pulled fresh from Xero in real time and written directly to your Google Sheet.
